3. How much does it cost to join DMA?

It is absolutely free to join DMA. There are no membership fees. You sign a one-time only agreement that allows you to decide when and how often you use our services.

4. Will DMA fund the hospital, physician, or both?
|
Yes, DMA can definitely fund both the hospital and physician as long as they are both on our provider list. If the hospital is in our plan but your client’s physician is not, DMA can still fund the cost of the hospital; and if the physician is in our plan but the hospital is not, DMA can still fund the physician cost. If the provider does not appear on our list, then DMA cannot assist with funding. However, just fill out our referral section on the website with the information on the provider or call us at (504) 484-70077 or (888) 663-7077, and we will do our best to honor the request.

5. How do I schedule a diagnostic test?

Call DMA at 504.484.7077 or 888-663-7077. Our friendly staff will explain how easy it is.
All we require is the appropriate paperwork, a physician’s order, and a low deposit.
From that point, we will schedule the test and notify you and your client of the date and time.
We will send written confirmation of testing and directions to the facility. Lastly, we will automatically send the medical report and billing to your office and serve as your medical records custodian thereafter.

6. How much of a deposit does DMA require for a diagnostic test?
|
DMA requires a low deposit (usually $100 but up to 10% depending on the procedure).

7. How much does DMA charge for testing services?
- DMA charges the usual and customary price of the facility performing the test.
- Your balance is interest free for 12 months.
- Simple interest begins to accrue on the balance at the rate of 1.5% per month, beginning the 13th month.
- The total balance is due at settlement or 24 months, whichever occurs first.

8. How do I schedule a surgical procedure?

You write only one check to cover all the surgery related cost, such as the surgeons, hospital, radiologist, anesthesiologist, pathologist, and any other providers involved. We will coordinate the surgical procedure, automatically send the medical report and billing to your office, and serve as your medical records custodian thereafter.

9. How much of a deposit does DMA require for a surgical procedure?
|
DMA requires a deposit of only $2,500 to $5,500. This is considerably less than the typical $11,000 to $14,000 deposit charged by other providers.
